Anatomy of Trees: A Winter Sketching Workshop
Bring a sketchbook and pencil to explore the anatomy of trees from direct observation in the field. No previous experience is necessary. Dress warmly to prepare for one-hour of outdoor observational drawing, and reference gathering using your smart phone. We offer two dates and locations for this workshop — choose one that works best with your schedule! This program is part of our Nature-Inspired Fine Art Series. We are fortunate to have professional local artist Tina Druce-Hoffman offer a series of workshops and classes centered around a nature theme. If you've always wanted to learn to draw, paint, or improve your artistic skills, these programs are perfect for you! Each program will include time in the field and in the art classroom.

Saturday, Jan. 18; 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Creek Bend Nature Center
LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve

Fee: $40/person
