A portion of the Elgin Township Trail, south of Voyageur Landing Forest Preserve in Elgin, will be closed between April 24 and May 5 for bridge repairs along the trail. The project area is south of Interstate 90 at West River Road in Elgin Township. The Elgin Township Trail serves as an extension of the Fox River Trail, and leads to the west side of the Fox River.
